Goji Berries (a.k.a. wolf berries) are just one of many super-antioxidant fruits that are sold in yummy drinks, liquid extracts and are even sold dehydrated for snacking. They have a unique flavor that is easily acquired after a few berries. They are high in Vitamin C & Vitamin E.
Here's a quick list of benefits:

- Effectively removes toxins from the body
- When regularly added to diet, these berries speed up weight loss
- Strengthens the metabolism
- Helps in enhancing longevity and improves the circulation of blood
Did you know that Goji berries are easy to grow?
They are drought and cold resistant and can get gigantic if you have a back yard - some get to 8 feet or more! They easily reseed themselves and when seeds are collected, it's a simple plant to germinate and replant elsewhere - that way you can share the Goji love! A friend at a local health food store gave me a little seedling last winter - 4 months later it's on it's way!
Here's a few photo's of my lovely little Goji plant. She's out on the porch right now but I'll be moving her to my Mom's yard at the end of May. Hopefully we'll have a nice cool morning to do it so I don't shock her too much.
Goji Berries can produce fruit their first year!
They can be grown in pots on a patio but will be limited in size there. Their roots like to go deep so they will produce more fruit in the ground. Mature plants might produce between July and October so it seems that it's a very fruitful plant.
If you do grow them in pots, be aware of extreme temperatures as potted plants feel the cold and heat much more than those in the ground.
I'll keep you posted on the progress!
