Know someone nursing a broken bone?
They may be on the mend but there are certain nutrients that will help the bones heal even faster.
Vitamin C and LOT'S of it: 10,000mg per day is the number to shoot for. It's vital for the mending and regeneration of tissue including bone. This will likely need to be mixed with juice as it doesn't taste very good.
Comfrey Leaf: Applied topically The ointment should be applied as close to the site of the broken bone as possible. If you your wearing a cast, just get it close. Remember: Everything you put on your skin goes into the blood so this will still be effective. Take it internally as well for best results. Comfrey has been used for centuries to knit bones! AND if you grow Comfrey at home, just throw a few leaves into a green drink and strain the pulp out.
Arnica! Arnica is a homeopathic remedy known throughout the world for minimizing trauma. Arnica will help speed the healing of bone, decrease pain, inflammation and minimize bruising. Arnica is available at any health food store along with the vitamin C.
Lastly if possible implementing therapeutic grade essential oils like Be Young Brand Birch Oil. Birch oil is quite rare, it supports healthy bones and is great for trauma. Other options for oils are Helichrysum, Geranium and Wintergreen. It's VERY important to get high quality therapeutic oils. Birch oil and Wintergreen are often made in a laboratory in the form of methyl salicylate. I would recommend either Young Living Oils or the "brother" company Be Young Essential Oils. Reach out if you want info on how to order.
In addition to this I would recommend The homeopathic cell salt Calc phos & Ferrum phos. Calc phos promotes healing in bones. Ferrum phos is an oxygenator and good for nearly any ailment for facilitation healing. These can both be taken liberally throughout the day, 4 tablets under the tongue at a time.
Next- BONE BROTH! Cooking a roast or beef steak of some kind with the bones submerged in the broth for several hours will bring bone strengthening nutrients and faster healing. Plus it's tasty!
My professor told a story of a women she knew that was in her 80's that healed incredibly fast doing a regiment simlar to this. Especially with the elderly, they heal slowly and need all the help they can get with broken bones. Please reach out to me with questions or comments on the post!
